Responsibilities

Design, build, and ship internal services and tooling primarily in Go.
Build complex backend services and APIs for the development organization.
Deploy owned services to Kubernetes and maintain their Helm charts.
Manage infrastructure for owned services with Terraform.
Own the lifecycle of internal services, integrations, and developer tooling.
Participate in on-call support for owned services.
Collaborate directly with development teams as users and contribute to related system areas when helpful.

Strong, current Go expertise is required.
Experience building complex backend services and APIs.
Comfort deploying services with Kubernetes and maintaining Helm charts.
Experience managing service infrastructure with Terraform.
Experience with relational databases such as Postgres and key-value stores such as Redis.
Advanced AI fluency, including applying AI to complex problem solving, using retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluating the return on investment of models or approaches.
AWS experience is nice to have.
GitLab CI experience is nice to have.
Experience building internal developer tooling is nice to have.
