Responsibilities
- Define, develop, test, analyze, maintain, and support software programs and applications.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions.
- Develop program and system documentation.
- Analyze and resolve software errors accurately and promptly.
- Consult with users, architects, project leaders, and management to resolve problems and recommend alternatives.
- Identify innovations in OCR, text analytics, NLP, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and deep learning for automation, knowledge discovery, decision-making, document understanding, and knowledge extraction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with RPA, machine learning, NLP, OCR/ICR, data analysis, or Java is a plus.
- Aptitude and desire for software development, along with initiative.
- Knowledge of Agile software development principles, processes, and tools.
- Ability to learn and effectively use the tools and software development techniques adopted by the IT Division.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
- Ability to work from a technology office in Lansing, Michigan.
