Responsibilities

Define, develop, test, analyze, maintain, and support software programs and applications.
Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions.
Develop program and system documentation.
Analyze and resolve software errors accurately and promptly.
Consult with users, architects, project leaders, and management to resolve problems and recommend alternatives.
Identify innovations in OCR, text analytics, NLP, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and deep learning for automation, knowledge discovery, decision-making, document understanding, and knowledge extraction.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with RPA, machine learning, NLP, OCR/ICR, data analysis, or Java is a plus.
Aptitude and desire for software development, along with initiative.
Knowledge of Agile software development principles, processes, and tools.
Ability to learn and effectively use the tools and software development techniques adopted by the IT Division.
Ability to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
Ability to work from a technology office in Lansing, Michigan.
