Responsibilities

  • Build and operate cloud data and platform solutions across Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake.
  • Develop and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using ETL/ELT patterns.
  • Build and support cloud platform infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions, including automated testing and documentation.
  • Apply dimensional, Kimball, medallion, and source-to-target data modelling principles.
  • Implement data quality, lineage, observability, and monitoring capabilities.
  • Support cloud platform operations including networking, identity and access management, security fundamentals, and policy adherence.
  • Use GenAI and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate engineering delivery and validate generated outputs.
  • Develop understanding of agentic AI systems and how they interact with data and platform infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with architects, product engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver technical and business solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience with cloud engineering across Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Snowflake.
  • Python and SQL experience with strong engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience developing batch or streaming pipelines, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or a combination of these areas.
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
  • Practical experience using GenAI or AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Databricks Assistant.
  • Basic understanding of AI-ready architecture and how data quality, latency, schema, security, and lineage affect downstream AI and ML systems.
  • Basic understanding of agentic AI concepts and the relationship between autonomous systems and data and platform infrastructure.
  • Preferred experience includes data modelling, pipelines supporting agentic workflows or LLM applications, data products, decision-intelligence platforms such as Palantir or Quantexa, Infrastructure as Code, cloud networking, identity and access management, security engineering, policy-as-code, and platform governance.
  • Relevant cloud, data platform, AI, or ML certifications are advantageous.
