Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and automate scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Lead infrastructure, deployment pipeline, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code adoption across the organization.
  • Design and evolve containerized and serverless architectures using AKS, EKS, Docker, and Azure Functions.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment frequency, reliability, and lead time.
  • Implement observability standards covering monitoring, logging, alerting, SLIs, SLOs, and proactive issue detection.
  • Apply SRE principles to improve resilience, scalability, and reduce operational toil.
  • Embed security-by-design, vulnerability management, secure configuration, and compliance practices across the SDLC.
  • Lead incident resolution, root cause analysis, modernization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Enable reusable platform automation patterns and contribute to architecture decisions and engineering standards.
  • Mentor and lead DevOps engineers and collaborate with product, application development, and service operations teams.
  • Drive AI-assisted operational automation and adoption of AI capabilities across the solution portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline.
  • At least one Azure and/or AWS certification.
  • 10+ years or equivalent senior experience in DevOps, SRE, Release Engineering, or Software Engineering, including production-critical systems.
  • Strong experience designing and operating scalable, secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud-native systems using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, containerized environments, and observability practices.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience working in Linux and Windows environments and automating operational tasks.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools and building or operating AI-enabled pipelines, with familiarity with prompt engineering and AI usage patterns.
  • Practical application of SRE principles, including incident management, reliability, resilience, and toil reduction.
  • Experience leading or mentoring engineers, driving DevOps transformation, and communicating technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, FinOps, AI observability, and Open Telekom Cloud.
