Base Salary
$219k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set end-to-end technical direction and architecture for complex Generative AI and agentic systems.
- Build foundation-model and embedding fine-tuning workflows, agentic systems, advanced RAG, and semantic-search solutions hands-on.
- Engineer production systems for latency, reliability, cost, scale, governance, observability, and continuous improvement.
- Architect and operate reliable multi-step reasoning and multi-agent workflows.
- Partner with client leadership, translate business strategy into AI architecture, and shape pre-sales solutions.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through architecture reviews and technical guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of software, AI, or ML engineering experience with substantial AI systems delivered to production at scale.
- Demonstrated technical leadership owning architecture and setting direction across engagements or teams.
- Proven experience deploying Generative AI and/or agentic products to production.
- Experience with classic machine learning, including neural networks, training, and tuning, is strongly preferred; foundation-model or novel-model work is a plus.
- Strong data engineering and SQL knowledge.
- Senior client-facing experience translating technical complexity into business value for executive stakeholders.
- Mastery of Python and shell scripting; deep expertise with LLMs, agentic systems, vector databases, semantic search, Google Cloud/Vertex AI, and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
