Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and designs.
- Code and test complex system components.
- Participate in code and design reviews.
- Work with other teams to deliver and operate large-scale distributed cloud services.
- Own system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Mentor other engineers and help define the technical culture and build a growing team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred qualifications include 3+ years covering the full software development lifecycle, a master's degree in computer science or equivalent, and experience debugging, profiling, and applying software engineering best practices in large-scale systems.
