Responsibilities
- Shape security practices and expertise across teams.
- Build security into infrastructure, tools, services, and processes in partnership with Platform SRE and application development teams.
- Design, implement, deploy, manage, and support security tooling and pipelines for SDLC, SBOM, SIEM, runtime security, forensics, and compliance.
- Develop security policies and procedures that improve platform security.
- Respond to security incidents, remediate issues, and conduct forensics.
- Automate manual security efforts and build dashboards for CVEs, vulnerabilities, and internal security events.
Requirements
- B.Tech, M.Tech, or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience handling services in a large-scale distributed system.
- Deep understanding of networking, including TCP/IP, routing, network topologies and hardware, and SDN.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native systems and security practices.
- Programming or scripting and automation skills using Python, Go, Ruby, or other scripting languages.
- Production experience with Kubernetes and its deployment patterns, with a DevSecOps focus.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Wazuh, Trivy, Falco, DefectDojo, CI tools such as Jenkins, and CD tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, centralized logging, metrics, and tooling frameworks such as Loki, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Ability to work independently and own problem statements end-to-end.
- VAPT and penetration-testing experience is a plus.
