Responsibilities

  • Prepare, explore and validate data for machine learning use cases.
  • Develop and evaluate machine learning models and AI-enabled software components.
  • Write clean, tested and documented code using appropriate engineering tools and practices.
  • Support model integration, deployment, monitoring and performance improvement.
  • Contribute to technical reviews, experiments and structured problem solving.
  • Work with experienced engineers and researchers on live projects.
  • Complete blended academic study toward the AI and Data Science Graduate Level Apprenticeship.

Requirements

  • Achieve 96 UCAS points and four Highers at BBCC, including Maths or Computing.
  • A foundation apprenticeship may count as one Higher at B, and a relevant SCQF Level 6 modern apprenticeship may count as two Highers at B.
  • Have the permanent right to work in the UK.
  • Successfully complete and maintain BPSS screening and UK Government Security Clearance (SC).
  • Typically have lived continuously in the UK for the last five years to be eligible for SC clearance.
