Responsibilities
- Create and upload manual test cases in ALM tools.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using the existing test automation framework.
- Design and implement automated API test suites in Java using REST Assured.
- Collaborate with developers, managers, business partners, and other stakeholders to gather test automation requirements.
- Maintain test cases and document execution results using qTest.
- Log, track, and communicate defects through ALM tools.
- Conduct peer reviews of automation code.
- Participate in coaching, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Formal QA training or certification and at least two years of applied experience.
- Ability to write automated tests in Java, TypeScript, or Python using Playwright and Selenium.
- Strong Java proficiency and hands-on experience building automated API tests with REST Assured.
- Knowledge of object repositories, XPath, automation frameworks, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, defect and data-management tools, software lifecycles, and test automation strategies.
- Expertise with JIRA and ALM tools such as qTest, plus working knowledge of databases.
- Preferred qualifications include full-stack Java enterprise development, Agile SDLC delivery, at least two years of Java 17+ experience, microservices deployed using AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service, Elastic Container Service, and EC2, Terraform scripting in AWS production environments, and experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL.
