Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and scale embedded software NPI automation test environments.
- Create test design documents, test case documents, test reports, and other automation test documentation.
- Execute automation tests according to established processes while maintaining traceability and reliable results.
- Develop new feature test suites using Python and integrate them into the existing test framework.
- Optimize the test framework to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Use AI tools to enhance test automation intelligence and productivity.
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineering, Firmware, and Software teams across multiple global sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communication Systems, or a related field, with software or firmware testing experience.
- Proficiency in Python programming and the ability to develop and maintain test frameworks.
- Knowledge of test processes and methodologies, including test design, test case writing, and test report generation.
- Ability to set up and debug automation test environments.
- Strong technical documentation and problem-solving skills, with a self-driven and autonomous working style.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Preferred experience with Git, SVN, CVS, Agile development, unit testing, scripting, AI-assisted testing, LLM tools, AI agent or skills development, and CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
