Base Salary
$280k - $385k/yr
Responsibilities
- Craft and execute a long-term north-star vision for Authentication that balances uncompromised security with a frictionless user experience.
- Recruit and mentor engineering talent to scale security infrastructure.
- Act as the voice of Security Engineering across the organization and drive data-informed decisions at the executive level.
- Present Databricks security innovations at major academic and industry conferences.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Data Security or related areas, with expertise in at least two listed security domains such as Authentication, Network Security, Kubernetes Security, Web Security, Identity Management, or Access Control.
- 15+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems with high availability.
- Leadership experience across functional and organizational lines.
- Strong communication skills for explaining and evangelizing Data Security to senior leaders.
- Bias toward action and passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
- MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
