Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance, secure, and scalable peer-to-peer networking protocols in Rust.
- Develop distributed systems for decentralized AI node communication.
- Ensure robust fault-tolerance and resilience in networked systems through testing and optimization.
- Collaborate with blockchain engineers and AI researchers to integrate the network layer with Fortytwo's AI stack.
- Optimize performance for diverse computing environments, including edge devices and cloud systems.
- Contribute to open-source projects and documentation that advance Fortytwo's mission.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Rust development, focusing on distributed systems or peer-to-peer networking.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, WebRTC, and libp2p.
- Experience in building scalable and resilient distributed systems.
- Proficient in designing systems with security and fault-tolerance in mind.
- Familiarity with decentralized technologies, including blockchain and cryptographic techniques.
