Base Salary
$120k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement modular software for high-performance GPS signal recovery and timing.
- Architect time-critical solutions in collaboration with hardware and firmware teams.
- Interpret requirements and carry software through final implementation.
- Document, verify, and complete the DO-178 certification lifecycle for mission-critical products.
- Apply structured software design and development processes to embedded, real-time systems.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
- Proven expertise designing software for minimal architectures and real-time or time-critical applications, including embedded systems or high-speed servers.
- Strong understanding of digital hardware and microprocessor architecture.
- Proficiency in C and Python 3.x.
- Deep understanding of modular and structured software design concepts.
- Experience with multithreaded operating systems and advanced multithreaded software design.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools and processes and diverse development lifecycles.
- Strong verbal, written, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Experience with GPS or communication systems and object-oriented programming in C++ is preferred.
