Base Salary
$120k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement modular software from requirements through final implementation for high-performance GPS signal recovery and timing.
- Architect time-critical embedded solutions in collaboration with hardware and firmware teams.
- Document, verify, and complete the DO-178 certification lifecycle for mission-critical products.
- Apply configuration management processes and structured software development lifecycles.
- Develop and maintain multithreaded software for real-time systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
- Proven experience designing software for minimal architectures and real-time or time-critical applications, including embedded systems or high-speed servers.
- Strong understanding of digital hardware and microprocessor architecture.
- Proficiency in C and Python 3.x and strong knowledge of modular, structured software design.
- Experience with multithreaded operating systems and advanced multithreaded software design.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools and processes and diverse development lifecycles.
- Strong verbal, written, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- GPS or communications systems experience and object-oriented programming in C++ are preferred.
