Responsibilities
- Specify, structure, and maintain software and system requirements for satellite control software.
- Create and maintain interface, operational, and software requirements in accordance with ECSS standards.
- Collaborate with avionics, systems, and software teams.
- Contribute to architecture definitions covering data flows, on-board communication paths, protocols, and real-time mechanisms.
- Develop embedded software for satellite on-board systems using C/C++ or Rust.
- Implement communication stacks and on-board protocols.
- Contribute to test, validation, and verification strategies for space software.
- Integrate CI/CD, static analysis, and automated testing practices.
- Support reviews and prepare compliance evidence in accordance with ECSS standards.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in requirements engineering, systems engineering, and embedded software development is indicated by the combined role scope.
- Ability to develop embedded software using C/C++ or Rust.
- Ability to work with communication stacks, on-board protocols, and real-time mechanisms.
- Familiarity with ECSS standards and software testing, validation, and verification practices is relevant to the role.
