Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Python automation frameworks for ETL testing.
- Analyze requirements and identify test scenarios suitable for automation.
- Perform end-to-end ETL testing and validate data flows, transformations, and data integrity across systems.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and conduct database testing.
- Integrate and execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, automation strategy, defect tracking, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with product, development, QA, and business stakeholders.
- Maintain test scripts, report and validate defects, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Mentor junior team members and potentially build automation frameworks from scratch.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with end-to-end ETL testing and Azure Databricks.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Strong experience with SQL and database testing.
- Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Experience in test case design, test analysis, automation identification, and automation script maintenance.
- Understanding of software testing life cycle, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and ETL processes.
- Bachelor-level engineering education, specifically BE or BTech.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, and independent-working skills.
- Experience mentoring junior team members is expected; test reporting and monitoring tools are nice-to-have.
