Responsibilities
- Engineer complex, multi-tiered distributed software systems.
- Design, implement, test, document, and diagram software solutions for technical and business requirements.
- Develop product features, resolve programming errors, and support new product development.
- Design and develop Java EE applications, REST APIs, web interfaces, and database-backed solutions.
- Complete code changes on schedule, follow development best practices, and troubleshoot software issues.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of Java development experience.
- At least 5 years of web frontend development experience.
- At least 5 years of experience building large websites with HTML and CSS.
- Hands-on experience with Java EE, object-oriented analysis and design, REST API development, Java and JEE internals, relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
- Experience with JPA2, Hibernate, Spring MVC, React.js, Redux, React-Router, responsive web design, and Git-based version control.
- Experience with at least one web framework such as JSF, Wicket, GWT, or Spring MVC.
- Experience with frontend unit testing and Power Mockito.
- Preferred qualifications include web usability and accessibility knowledge, Ant build-process familiarity, software troubleshooting ability, and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
