Responsibilities

  • Architect and provision the IDDE DevSecOps environment using Terraform for scalable, repeatable, version-controlled infrastructure deployments.
  • Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications and microservices with Kubernetes.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software building, testing, and deployment.
  • Administer IDDE systems across AWS and Azure hybrid cloud environments, including tool deployment, infrastructure configuration, Active Directory, and user account management.
  • Collaborate with cyber engineers on STIG evaluation, analysis, and implementation.
  • Integrate automated security and code scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Support deliverables, release objectives, documentation, and complex deployment orchestration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of relevant experience or master’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification is required for baseline DoD compliance.
  • Active Secret-or-higher security clearance is required.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, automated CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise AWS and Azure environments.
  • Experience with Windows Server administration, Windows Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and System Center Configuration Manager.
  • Experience with STIG analysis, deployment orchestration, and security/code scanning tools.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist.
  • Advanced familiarity with GitLab and prior experience with development environments such as Coder are preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are required.
  • Successful completion of background and drug screening is required.
