Responsibilities
- Architect and provision the IDDE DevSecOps environment using Terraform for scalable, repeatable, version-controlled infrastructure deployments.
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications and microservices with Kubernetes.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software building, testing, and deployment.
- Administer IDDE systems across AWS and Azure hybrid cloud environments, including tool deployment, infrastructure configuration, Active Directory, and user account management.
- Collaborate with cyber engineers on STIG evaluation, analysis, and implementation.
- Integrate automated security and code scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines.
- Support deliverables, release objectives, documentation, and complex deployment orchestration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of relevant experience or master’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is required for baseline DoD compliance.
- Active Secret-or-higher security clearance is required.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, automated CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise AWS and Azure environments.
- Experience with Windows Server administration, Windows Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and System Center Configuration Manager.
- Experience with STIG analysis, deployment orchestration, and security/code scanning tools.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist.
- Advanced familiarity with GitLab and prior experience with development environments such as Coder are preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are required.
- Successful completion of background and drug screening is required.
