Responsibilities
- Build applications for internal teams to attract, sell to, and onboard merchants.
- Define the architecture and tech stack for specific business areas.
- Develop robust APIs and microservices using modern frameworks and AWS services.
- Create innovative solutions that leverage DoorDash's proprietary infrastructure.
- Drive architectural decisions balancing business needs and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building enterprise applications.
- Expertise in Salesforce and custom development using modern frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Kotlin, Go, or Python.
- Ability to analyze and improve system efficiency and stability with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture and RESTful/gRPC APIs.
- Keen sense of when to leverage commoditized platforms versus building custom solutions.
- Excitement about mentoring others and driving technical excellence.
