Base Salary
$221k - $299k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive significant technology initiatives end to end across multiple architecture layers.
- Architect and develop scalable applications and systems.
- Design and implement durable, secure, maintainable software solutions for critical customer problems.
- Provide recommendations and best practices for application development, platform development, and developer tools.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams across time zones and communicate with employees, customers, management, and executives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance applications with AI, launch AI integrations in production, and evaluate their impact on performance and user satisfaction.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers in software engineering, AI application practices, and technical development.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related area, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience delivering enterprise-class applications.
- Experience writing scalable application code and addressing accessibility, internationalization, instrumentation, cross-browser, cross-platform, and web and mobile design constraints.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, relational database design, SQL and NoSQL databases, analytics, and cloud computing.
- Proficiency with Java and experience developing applications using microservices, container technologies, Kubernetes, or Mesos.
- Experience with test automation and unit, integration, functional, and performance testing.
- Experience building and deploying applications and services in cloud environments and interest in building CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building or integrating functional AI models using techniques such as LLM prompting and AutoML modeling.
- Ability to evaluate and monitor AI technology in production and lead AI integration while collaborating with data scientists, product managers, and software engineers.
