Responsibilities
- Shape technical architecture, roadmaps, lifecycle strategies, reliability, and resilience for endpoint security, security automation, and cloud security platforms.
- Lead major technical initiatives through discovery, evaluation, design, implementation, operational adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Build and enhance cloud and endpoint security automations using cloud-native APIs, event-driven workflows, infrastructure-as-code, and configuration-management practices.
- Define automation use cases across endpoint, cloud, identity, detection, incident response, and threat intelligence.
- Improve endpoint telemetry, policy governance, platform health, integrations, and day-to-day operability.
- Partner with security teams to prioritize opportunities, redesign manual processes, standardize workflows, and drive adoption.
- Assess emerging and AI-enabled security technologies for business value, technical fit, and security, data, and operational risks.
- Establish and report measures of platform health, workflow reliability, automation success, coverage, and response effectiveness.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, document architecture decisions, and communicate recommendations, risks, and trade-offs.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with endpoint security, security automation, and cloud security challenges.
- Ability to make sound technical decisions and lead complex security programs from strategy and design through implementation and improvement.
- Experience with cloud-native APIs, event-driven workflows, infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and operational response processes.
- Understanding of endpoint visibility, telemetry, identity, detection, incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
- Ability to evaluate AI-enabled security capabilities and associated security, data, and operational risks.
- Strong collaboration, communication, prioritization, judgment, and follow-through across technical and nontechnical teams.
