Software Engineer C++

- Design and build complex, mission-critical trading systems.
- Plan, design, and implement high-quality Linux services using modern C++.
- Contribute to the analysis, design, implementation, and delivery of Akuna’s proprietary trading platform.
- Participate in design sessions and code reviews.
- Collaborate with traders, quantitative researchers, and cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
- Drive projects through to completion.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience developing high-performance, scalable applications in modern C++.
- Required experience with Linux and Python.
- Working knowledge of modern C++ standards, including C++17 and C++20.
- Understanding of distributed systems, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Practical experience with multithreaded and multicore programming paradigms.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong template metaprogramming experience, interest in C++, modern CPU architecture, and familiarity with trading systems are preferred or advantageous.
