Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test components of the Transfer Agency Investor Onboarding system.
- Write and manage source code, automated tests, deployment scripts, and system checkout procedures.
- Integrate internally developed systems with vendor solutions.
- Resolve issues reported in test and production environments.
- Support business analysts with user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Create and enhance technical specifications and documentation, including data models, dataflow diagrams, screen designs, and workflow analyses.
- Participate in system, UAT, and production rollout activities across the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, testers, and other specialists across teams and locations.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with Java and related technologies or frameworks for multi-tiered, service-oriented web applications.
- Experience with Spring MVC or Spring Boot, JMS, JPA, and JAX-* technologies.
- Experience with web services, including SOAP and REST.
- Practical knowledge of SOLID principles, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and relational database technologies.
- Ability to create clean, modular, versatile code with replaceable modules and layers.
- Ability to design code for unit testing and understand basic data modeling principles.
- Alternative, nontraditional, or transferable experience is welcomed even when it does not match every listed qualification.
