Responsibilities
- Interact with IT and business stakeholders to understand application functionality and translate needs into technical and functional requirements.
- Design, develop, test, debug, support, and enhance full-stack software applications and platform infrastructure.
- Develop APIs and web services, work with relational databases, and optimize application performance, reliability, quality, and time to market.
- Provide engineering support and complex issue triage across multiple technology platforms and vendors.
- Serve as technical lead on multiple active projects, estimate implementation work, and contribute to design documents and project artifacts.
- Review team members’ work, help peers and junior developers debug technical issues, and mentor development teams.
- Establish best practices for performance and stability, conduct trend reviews, and maintain corrective-action plans.
- Collaborate with development teams and IT leaders on project goals, delivery schedules, solution quality, and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or BSc in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- At least 7 years of software development experience in the IT industry.
- Development experience with Angular, React, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, .NET, XML, jQuery, JSON, and similar web technologies.
- Expertise developing APIs and web services using SOAP and RESTful technologies.
- Extensive relational database experience, including SQL, DML, stored procedures, functions, and triggers, with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Experience with AngularJS, Angular, ReactJS, and Node.js development frameworks.
- Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills, with familiarity with responsive and accessible web development practices.
- Experience developing, testing, and debugging web, console, and desktop applications, preferably in e-commerce, services, finance, billing, payment, insurance, banking, or account-management domains.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude, and Cursor.
- Familiarity with AWS and DevOps tools and processes including Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Git, and Confluence.
- Knowledge of testing types, defect prevention, quality management, performance bottleneck identification, and software stability practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills; ability to work independently.
- Exposure to leading software development teams and mentoring them to build high-performing teams.
