Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test new analytics-platform features involving server-side and front-end development.
- Build modular UI elements using Web Components and Angular or React.
- Develop integrations with Pico and third-party APIs using REST and SOAP.
- Write automated unit and integration tests.
- Deliver visualizations and integrations in collaboration with other teams, including Data Science.
- Contribute to design discussions, evaluate technical solutions, estimate work, and communicate progress and risks.
Requirements
- Experience developing in a Unix environment using Python and Java.
- Experience with automated unit testing and integration testing.
- Experience building modular UI elements using Web Components such as StencilJS, Angular, or React.
- Experience with RESTful web services.
- Knowledge of UI design principles, web standards, and cross-browser capabilities.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Preferred experience with SOAP web services, data visualization, SQL or similar query languages, design patterns, abstractions, automated build systems, and Git.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, learning, and collaboration skills.
