Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, reusable, and reliable C++20 code for mission-critical capital markets applications.
- Contribute across the development lifecycle, including technology evaluation, architecture design, integration, and upgrades.
- Solve complex problems involving capital markets data, asset classes, datasets, and business processes.
- Provide Level 3 support by analyzing complex issues and improving support functionality and client service.
- Research exchange rules and formats for public market data and order-entry systems.
- Research and implement advanced C++ features and frameworks.
- Work with high-performance hardware and low-latency technologies.
- Collaborate with sales, product development, client support, and customers.
Requirements
- Excellent C++ skills with hands-on experience using C++20 or later.
- Extensive experience developing with C++20 in a Linux environment.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Experience with Solarflare, low-latency NICs, or FPGA is desirable.
- Experience with market data capture is desirable.
- Experience with perf and kernel-bypass technologies is desirable.
- Knowledge of network protocols and familiarity with tcpdump or Wireshark is desirable.
- Experience with ASan, MSan, UBSan, or Tsan is desirable.
