Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack solutions spanning UI components, backend services, and persistence layers
- Design, develop, maintain, and operate mission-critical applications and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Build scalable, highly available services and take ownership of their quality, maintainability, and operational health
- Write and maintain functional and unit tests and deliver iterative improvements through Agile development practices
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to build and deliver reliable Registry products and platforms
- Use modern development and AI-assisted engineering tools to improve engineering efficiency
Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably building microservices
- Foundation in data structures, algorithms, software design, microservices, and cloud computing
- Knowledge of Java 17+ and cloud-hosted development platforms; AWS experience is preferred
- Knowledge of database technologies including Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Experience with unit testing, Test-Driven Development principles, CI/CD pipelines, and server or deployment automation
- BS/MS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Clear communication and effective collaboration skills
- Exposure to AI tools and technologies and understanding of DevOps practices and tools are preferred
