Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, maintain, and scale highly available cloud infrastructure for critical applications and services.
  • Administer infrastructure layers and improve services throughout their lifecycle from design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
  • Build operational tools, automation scripts, monitoring solutions, and infrastructure-as-code workflows for deployment and administration.
  • Manage infrastructure platforms, capacity planning, resource forecasting, backup and recovery strategies, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, mitigation, resolution, on-call rotations, and sustainable incident response.
  • Monitor availability, latency, system health, performance, and capacity while improving reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, development, operations, and partner teams and mentor colleagues on availability, performance, and automation.
  • Apply security, compliance, risk-control, and quality standards to infrastructure and platform operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, SRE, or similar professional managing cloud infrastructure in regulated or highly available environments.
  • At least 5 years of experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud platforms, and distributed systems design.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Python or Bash and automation or configuration-management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Linux or Unix systems, Windows Server, systems monitoring, and capacity management.
  • At least 2 years of experience operating in regulated environments with specific security constraints.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
  • Experience with VMware technology is a plus.
  • Ability to follow applicable risk-control frameworks, policies, and procedures.
