Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable and scalable data pipelines using Python, Airflow, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Integrate data from on-premises systems, cloud sources, and APIs into a unified data platform.
- Implement and improve lakehouse and warehouse data models and transformation layers.
- Support data quality, monitoring, security, and compliance across pipelines and storage.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
- Participate in solution design, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Improve pipeline performance, maintainability, and data reliability.
Requirements
- Require 2–4 years of experience in data engineering or a closely related role.
- Require strong SQL and Python skills.
- Require understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and warehouse/lakehouse concepts.
- Require experience building and maintaining pipelines with orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Require familiarity with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD practices.
- Require understanding of data quality, security, and data governance principles.
- Require the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Value motivation to learn, grow technically, and take increasing ownership.
- Microsoft Fabric or Microsoft Azure experience, data governance or data cataloging exposure, and experience with large-scale or complex data ecosystems are advantageous.
