Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Advise film and series production teams on secure workflow design, including editorial environments, Aspera file transfers, cloud storage, on-set networking, and remote collaboration tools.
- Assess internal and external content-processing architectures and securely deploy and maintain content networks and equipment.
- Manage third-party security assessments, production-team requests, and end-to-end vendor security coordination.
- Research and pilot forensic watermarking, audio/video fingerprinting, content tracking, and other next-generation content security measures.
- Develop controls and standards addressing generative AI threats such as extraction, reconstruction, deepfake misuse, and model training on unreleased assets.
- Maintain AWS infrastructure and applications and build security tooling for access governance, audit reporting, and compliance monitoring.
- Write lightweight Python or scripting automation for security tooling, audit workflows, and operational reporting.
- Develop studio-specific security procedures, mentor junior team members, support hiring, and provide written updates on risks and incidents.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of programming experience in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .NET, C++, or a similar object-oriented language.
- At least 2 years of non-internship scripting, programming, and security code review experience in a common programming language.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating basic tasks with command-line tools.
- Knowledge of networking protocols including HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
- Preferred experience includes threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, and network security.
- Preferred experience with AWS products and services and security activities across software development lifecycle phases such as design review, threat modeling, secure code review, and security testing.
