Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and enforce governance and standards for commercial cloud platforms.
- Design, develop, and implement platform-level features for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Review and influence design, architecture, and standards for cloud-based infrastructure.
- Collaborate with application engineering teams to monitor and troubleshoot system infrastructure.
- Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements such as availability and security.
- Develop metrics to manage cloud-based infrastructure for automation and performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years experience as a Cloud Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, or Snowflake.
- Experience with infrastructure as code automation and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and Terraform.
- Strong scripting skills in Terraform, Linux Shell, PowerShell, Python, or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Master's degree or PhD in a related field is preferred.
