Staff Software Engineer (Connected TVs - JavaScript)

- Make significant, high-quality code contributions to connected TV streaming applications.
- Lead technical discussions, documentation, and work planning so engineers can work autonomously.
- Lead or participate in technical design and discovery activities supporting the product roadmap.
- Contribute to high-level planning, roadmap definition, and architecture design across teams.
- Mentor engineers through constructive code reviews, engineering best practices, debugging techniques, and educational guidance.
- Promote high-quality software practices including effective test coverage, automated testing, continuous integration, and low-friction development environments.
Requirements
- Significant experience building, testing, shipping, and maintaining consumer applications.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated success working with teams to deliver high-quality software iteratively, predictably, and sustainably.
- Preferred experience developing connected TV applications.
- Preferred experience developing applications in resource-constrained environments with limited GPU, CPU, or memory.
- Preferred success evangelizing high-quality software development practices, including appropriate test coverage, automation, and CI/CD.
- Preferred ability to rapidly learn new technologies, languages, or frameworks.
- Preferred experience with the Lightning framework, WebGL, or a modern web framework such as Angular, Vue, Svelte, or React.
- Preferred experience with TypeScript and a passion for performance and creating excellent user experiences.
