Responsibilities
- Ship product improvements that unblock strategic deals and expand Fleetio’s commitments to key accounts.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to understand customer workflows, constraints, and timelines.
- Translate customer and deal needs into clear requirements and implementation plans.
- Build maintainable production solutions meeting Fleetio’s testing, observability, documentation, and engineering standards.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to make scope decisions and deliver incrementally.
- Communicate tradeoffs, risks, and timelines clearly and proactively.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
- At least 2 years of experience with React.
- Strong experience building and shipping quality production web applications.
- Experience translating non-technical stakeholder needs into technical plans and managing expectations.
- Ability to decompose complex requests into milestones and deliver incrementally.
- Strong written communication skills and comfort working in a remote, async-friendly environment.
