Responsibilities
- Enhance and optimize existing Laravel-based systems.
- Design and implement new features and applications.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.
- Contribute to technical concepts, architectures, and development standards.
- Reduce technical debt and continuously improve existing systems.
- Collaborate closely with product management and the development team.
- Take responsibility for code quality and technical decisions beyond personal code.
- Work with automated tests, deployment processes, and version control.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or university studies in computer science, mathematics, or a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in PHP and Laravel development.
- Very good knowledge of object-oriented programming and web architectures.
- Experience maintaining long-lived, production web applications.
- Experience with automated testing in PHP/Laravel environments, such as PHPUnit or Pest.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and structured deployment processes.
- Confident use of Git and modern development workflows.
- Structured, quality-conscious, team-oriented, and independently responsible working style.
- Strong awareness of code quality, maintainability, and performance.
