Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Build and deploy AI solutions involving LLM orchestration and agentic frameworks.
- Implement scalable, performant, maintainable, microservices-based, event-driven, serverless, and containerized architectures.
- Collaborate with UI engineers using React or Angular to integrate backend APIs and support modular micro-frontends.
- Guide integration of SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases with backend and frontend services.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams on Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud services.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and observability, and optimize application performance and reliability.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance for backend and frontend development and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience focused on building scalable backend systems.
- Proven track record of shipping AI or GenAI solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases.
- Experience developing with LLMs and agentic frameworks such as MAF, Autogen, or ADK.
- Experience collaborating with frontend teams developing in React or Angular; React development experience is a plus.
- Strong experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and cloud-native application design.
- Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving, coding, and system design skills focused on scalable and maintainable solutions.
