Base Salary
$160k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design extensible and maintainable systems using S.O.L.I.D. principles.
- Lead the integration of AI-assisted coding tools, LLMs, copilots, and automated refactoring into engineering workflows.
- Audit and transform software development processes using specifications, automated testing, and rigorous code review standards.
- Act as the technical anchor for the team and uphold engineering discipline, quality, and architectural integrity.
- Partner with the Engineering Manager on roadmap prioritization and technical debt remediation.
- Build reusable and scalable systems optimized for long-term maintainability.
Requirements
- Demonstrated technical leadership and willingness to challenge practices that threaten codebase health.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, MongoDB, and Angular.
- Expertise using AI-assisted development tools, including copilots, LLMs, and automated refactoring.
- Understanding of S.O.L.I.D. principles, iterative development, and fail-fast practices.
- Ability to design and maintain scalable, reusable software systems.
- Experience with Snowflake or understanding of how application design affects downstream analytics is preferred.
