Responsibilities
- Design and build AI-powered product experiences with TypeScript, React, and LLM provider APIs.
- Develop the agentic tool runtime that enables BrazeAI Operator to take actions inside the product.
- Build integrations with Braze product surfaces, third-party vendors, and AI model providers.
- Improve reliability, observability, safety, streaming responses, error handling, evaluation, and rollout controls for LLM-backed systems.
- Lead technical projects from ambiguous goals through implementation, launch, and iteration.
- Collaborate through technical design, code review, and clear engineering practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong record of technical impact.
- Strong modern frontend development skills and comfort working across backend systems.
- Experience building production systems that integrate with AI/ML models, LLM APIs, or complex external services.
- Interest or experience in reliability, observability, safety, and user trust for AI-powered products.
- Ability to work in ambiguous problem spaces involving product behavior, technical architecture, and model capabilities.
- Clear communication and effective cross-team collaboration.
- Bonus experience with prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, agentic system design, real-time systems, streaming protocols, event-driven architectures, developer platforms, internal frameworks, reusable product infrastructure, Ruby on Rails, accessibility, search, or editor tooling.
