Base Salary
$170k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop behavior-prediction modules that predict the movements and actions of surrounding objects for autonomous-vehicle decision-making.
- Build robust infrastructure for learning from large-scale image and LiDAR data.
- Design optimized, scalable pipelines for data preprocessing, model training, post-processing, and inference.
- Train, evaluate, and optimize LSTM, Transformer, and other behavior-prediction models.
- Create scalable training and evaluation tools to support rapid model iteration.
- Integrate behavior-prediction systems into the autonomous-driving stack and conduct system tests for reliability and safety.
Requirements
- Ph.D. with 3+ years of industry experience or a master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong machine-learning experience, particularly behavior prediction for autonomous driving.
- Familiarity with LSTM, Transformer, and other relevant machine-learning architectures.
- Proficiency in Python and C++.
- Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with large-scale data processing and cloud-computing platforms.
- Experience in autonomous driving or robotics is a plus.
