Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications for Android.
- Participate in system architecture and design discussions.
- Debug, profile, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with hardware, QA, and product stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
Requirements
- At least three years of professional experience in Android development.
- Experience with both Java and Kotlin.
- Experience with both Jetpack Compose and XML layouts.
- Experience with background services, storage, and lifecycle management.
- Desirable experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, REST and JSON APIs, and web frameworks such as Angular.
- Desirable experience with TCP and UDP socket programming and Android’s networking stack.
- Desirable experience with hardware interfacing.
- Additional languages or platforms such as Python, C#, Linux, or Windows are desirable.
- Personal projects and open-source contributions are welcomed when supported with repository links.
