Base Salary
$149k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, scale, ship, and monitor AI and Agent platforms using Java, Python, MySQL, OpenSearch, Redis, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Integrate generative AI and agentic AI into Sprout’s existing ecosystem.
- Utilize AI tools like Claude Code in your development work.
- Research and prototype emerging AI technologies to influence technical roadmaps.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and AI/ML scientists to define requirements.
- Ensure project quality through proper testing and monitoring.
- Mentor team members and provide feedback on technical designs.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in designing and developing production-grade backend distributed systems.
- 3+ years of experience improving architectural patterns of large-scale software applications.
- 1+ years of experience in root-cause analysis and resolving architectural and performance bottlenecks.
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience architecting scalable systems for AI features.
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience with LLM and agent orchestration frameworks.
