Base Salary
$146k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own, improve, and maintain integration and end-to-end test automation frameworks and their CI pipelines
- Design and implement solutions to optimize test execution time and improve test stability
- Write technical specifications and architecture decision records and contribute to technical solution design
- Assist engineering teams with triage requests and share quality assurance and test automation best practices
- Contribute to the company’s overall test strategy
- Break larger projects into tasks, deliver work in phases, and collaborate with others for timely delivery
- Participate in an on-call rotation
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in test automation
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Python
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and Pytest
- Experience building and optimizing CI pipelines
- Experience with Docker and AWS
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance, test design, and testing techniques and methodologies
- Experience building or enhancing test automation frameworks and infrastructure is highly desirable
- Mobile, infrastructure, and performance test automation experience is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including asynchronous communication through technical specifications, RFCs, wikis, and project plans
- Ability to develop clear, well-tested, extensible solutions spanning multiple software components
