Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software components according to functional and technical requirements.
- Develop Python backend services, APIs, data-processing workflows, and automation solutions.
- Contribute primarily to backend-focused full-stack applications with limited front-end development.
- Work with structured and unstructured data for analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Gather requirements, document use cases, and translate business needs into technical solutions with business stakeholders.
- Investigate technical and data-related issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend scalable improvements.
- Contribute to test scripts, reusable validation frameworks, API and integration testing, and quality improvements.
- Use Git and defect-tracking platforms to support collaborative development and testing.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong programming fundamentals and hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and software testing lifecycle.
- Knowledge of manual testing, defect tracking, and test case design.
- Familiarity with test automation concepts and tools such as Selenium or similar frameworks.
- Experience with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- Awareness of API testing, integration testing, and quality assurance best practices.
- Understanding of REST APIs, databases, data pipelines, and application integration.
- React and Java knowledge are preferred; basic React, JavaScript, TypeScript, or another front-end technology is beneficial.
- Familiarity with data analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or generative AI concepts is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and root-cause-analysis skills.
