Base Salary

$100k - $149k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Add features to the Android platform stack across the Application Layer, Middleware, and Native layers.
  • Prototype, design, develop, and support commercialization of embedded and cloud software solutions for agentic mobile use cases.
  • Integrate on-device large language models and on-device vector databases.
  • Develop software using object-oriented C++, Java, or Rust and debug software bring-up issues and crash dumps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience developing object-oriented software with C++, Java, or Rust.
  • 3+ years of experience working with embedded Linux and/or Android.
  • 3+ years of industry experience with Modern C++ and/or Java; Kotlin experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of operating system concepts and concurrency, plus proficiency with Git.
  • Experience with Android SDK, NDK, OS concepts, HALs, security, and Treble.
  • Familiarity with Python for AI/ML software development and with ARM processors, ARM Assembly, and mobile SoC architecture.
  • Experience with on-device AI runtimes such as TFLite, PyTorch Edge, ExecuTorch, and Qualcomm AI Stack is preferred.
  • Debugging skills and experience with software bring-up and crash-dump analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
