Responsibilities
- Build the AI-powered internal platform used by Alan employees to navigate the company, find context, and take action.
- Design and ship intelligent agents for onboarding, knowledge retrieval, performance alignment, and decision support.
- Deploy LLMs for structured reasoning, agentic task execution, and integration with internal tools.
- Define reusable abstractions and patterns for AI-native work across Alan’s teams and countries.
- Build Alan-native alternatives to generic HR, performance-management, and identity tools.
- Build and scale Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access Management, and user lifecycle systems across more than 25 systems.
- Collaborate with product, design, security, and leadership to translate cultural principles into software.
Requirements
- Backend or full-stack software engineering experience; engineers of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interest in AI and willingness to explore LLMs, agents, and retrieval systems in real products.
- Comfort working in fast-moving environments where appropriate abstractions are still being developed.
- Proficiency with object-oriented languages such as Python, Java, or C# and modern web technologies.
- Fluent English; French is a plus but not required.
