Responsibilities
- Drive quality-engineering practices and a quality mindset across the team and broader organization.
- Develop and maintain front-end and API test automation, frameworks, and testing strategies.
- Analyze and report test results and communicate product release readiness from a quality-engineering perspective.
- Define acceptance criteria and collaborate with engineering, business, systems-analysis, and product-delivery colleagues.
- Perform root-cause analysis, defect tracking, test reporting, and signoff activities.
- Contribute to code and design reviews, source-control strategy, environment strategy, and build and deployment pipelines.
- Use and review AI-generated test automation code and engineering documentation for accuracy, maintainability, security, and engineering-standard compliance.
- Lead or contribute to quality-engineering initiatives, tooling improvements, and technical discussions across global teams.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software quality-engineering experience.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks and the ability to develop and execute automation tests and strategies.
- Expertise in both front-end and API automation, including experience with Playwright and Karate.
- Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with requirement analysis, defect tracking, distributed-team coordination, test reporting, and signoff.
- Experience with continuous-integration practices and automated deployment tools.
- Strong analytical, technical, communication, and root-cause-analysis skills.
- Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools to generate, optimize, and maintain test automation code and documentation.
- Experience reviewing AI-generated automation code and test artifacts, plus familiarity with prompt-engineering techniques.
- Ability to mine and manipulate data to create test data and test cases.
- Jira and Xray experience is a plus.
