Base Salary

$220k - $325k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute technology vision and architecture strategy across the full technology stack.
  • Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies, including agentic AI systems, and guide strategic technology investments.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across Product, Platform, Quality Engineering, and Architecture teams.
  • Establish measurable outcomes and evaluation frameworks for new technical capabilities.
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit to support regulatory compliance.
  • Build technical capability through reusable patterns, standards, coaching, and hands-on partnership.
  • Set technical direction, influence architecture decisions, and drive organizational change without formal authority.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on senior software engineering experience and a record of driving adoption of forward-leaning technologies.
  • Deep current expertise in agentic AI systems, including LLM-based agents, orchestration frameworks, tool integration, and evaluation methodologies, with production implementation experience.
  • Strong software and systems engineering foundations across architecture design, quality engineering, CI/CD pipelines, and platform development.
  • Experience setting technical direction, influencing architecture decisions, and driving organizational change as a senior technical individual contributor.
  • Executive-level communication skills for engaging CTOs, risk committees, and senior engineering teams.
  • Strong technical judgment for evaluating new technologies, assessing risks, and making candid recommendations.
  • Preferred experience in financial services, market data, index administration, or other regulated high-accuracy domains.
  • Preferred familiarity with data quality and validation at scale, AI risk frameworks, model risk management, or technology governance.
  • Preferred track record across multiple major technology shifts and active engagement through open-source contributions, technical publications, or public technical presence.
