Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate platform capabilities, deployment frameworks, and infrastructure automation.
- Develop ABAP-based operations tools for the BTP ABAP Cloud Environment.
- Define concepts, APIs, and implementation procedures for operating a cloud landscape of ABAP systems.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance through monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
- Collaborate with product, design, and cloud operations teams to translate requirements into practical solutions.
- Simplify developer workflows and support automation initiatives involving intelligent operations.
- Perform test automation and contribute to the full lifecycle of customer cloud systems.
Requirements
- A good degree in computer science, mathematics, natural science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience as a developer, software engineer, or project manager in the IT and software industry.
- Good general programming skills and knowledge of object-oriented development.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and containerized environments.
- Understanding of infrastructure automation, observability, system reliability, and troubleshooting with logs and metrics.
- Experience with DevOps practices and awareness of security, access control, and AI-assisted operations.
- Knowledge of ABAP RAP is advantageous.
- Fluency in Czech and English is required; German is advantageous.
