Responsibilities
- Define, test, and validate software web applications and Slack bots.
- Maintain and improve automated test suites in RSpec, Jest, Playwright, and Cypress.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly.
- Review colleagues' work from both white box and black box testing perspectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a holistic understanding of the product.
- Contribute to writing Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done.
- Track quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts.
- Stay updated with new testing tools and strategies.
- Mentor team members and provide feedback.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance and test automation experience.
- Proficient in RSpec, Jest, and Cypress.
- Familiarity with Playwright, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript/TypeScript, and GraphQL.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools for frontend and backend applications.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Bonus points for experience testing Slack bots and Jira add-ons.
- Familiarity with Product Management is a plus.
