Responsibilities
- Extend and modernize a large production codebase supporting fraud detection and risk analysis.
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, observable software solutions.
- Drive architectural discussions, technical decisions, quality standards, and technical debt reduction.
- Work across design, development, deployment, operations, and iteration of software systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers in a cross-functional team.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical leadership.
- Use AI and generative AI tools to improve coding, debugging, reviews, documentation, and decision support.
Requirements
- Senior-level software engineering experience with ownership of results and production systems.
- Strong engineering fundamentals in clean code, testing, system design, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Strong experience with TypeScript and modern React / Next.js.
- Strong experience building production systems with .NET, preferably modern .NET or .NET Core.
- Comfort operating production environments and working with legacy systems.
- Ability to make architectural trade-offs, solve complex problems, and provide technical leadership.
- Experience leveraging AI or generative AI to enhance engineering productivity and automate repetitive workflows.
