Responsibilities
- Configure, build, test, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ and SailPoint Identity Security Cloud capabilities.
- Work across identity workflows, rules, connectors, identity data, access requests, provisioning, and deprovisioning.
- Analyze existing IdentityIQ configurations and translate current behavior into cloud-aligned implementation tasks.
- Investigate defects, test failures, and data issues and deliver reliable fixes with other engineers.
- Create technical documentation, test evidence, runbooks, and implementation notes.
- Apply standards for secure configuration, code quality, change control, testing, observability, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, HR, cloud, operations, risk, and compliance partners.
- Own assigned work, communicate progress, raise risks, and improve manual processes and support experiences.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ, SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, or another identity governance and administration platform.
- Understanding of joiner, mover, and leaver processes; access requests; approvals; certifications; provisioning; and deprovisioning.
- Experience with workflows, rules, connectors, identity attributes, access profiles, roles, entitlements, or similar identity-platform components.
- Ability to complete well-defined engineering tasks with limited supervision and escalate risks when appropriate.
- Ability to troubleshoot integrations, data flows, APIs, directories, HR sources, SaaS applications, and on-premises applications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, LDAP, HR systems, service management tools, or privileged access platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on secure, accurate, tested, and documented delivery.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration with technical and non-technical partners.
- SailPoint, Identity Security Cloud Engineer, security, cloud, or engineering certification is desirable.
- Experience with IdentityIQ-to-Identity Security Cloud migration, hybrid identity platforms, CyberArk, privileged access management, or regulated and high-scale environments is desirable.
- Understanding of least privilege, role-based access control, segregation of duties, Zero Trust, or non-human identity governance is desirable.
