Responsibilities
- Define technical solutions, assumptions, constraints, and roadmaps for major initiatives.
- Lead cloud-native modernization and migration across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Develop reusable frameworks and architectural patterns across product lines.
- Build prototypes, establish CI/CD standards, and incorporate SRE/DevOps principles into system designs.
- Evaluate systems for performance, security, and cost bottlenecks and recommend architectural improvements.
- Mentor staff and senior engineers and communicate architecture to technical and executive audiences.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3+ years in a dedicated architectural role.
- Experience designing and scaling large-scale, distributed SaaS applications.
- Expertise in horizontal scaling, database sharding, and event-driven architectures.
- Deep experience with containers, Kubernetes, serverless technologies, service mesh, and multi-cloud strategies.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks, observability including APM and logging, and security-by-design practices.
- Expert knowledge of Agile, Lean, and SAFe.
- Ability to decompose complex problems and explain them clearly to developers and executive leadership.
